How ExpressVPN’s Coupon Compares to NordVPN and Surfshark
Three providers, three different pitches for your money:
ExpressVPN at $2.99/mo on the 2-year Basic plan is a strong discount for a provider that historically sat at the premium end of the market, backed by the standard 30-day money-back guarantee.
Surfshark at $2.39/mo (see the current Surfshark coupons) undercuts it and runs a genuine 7-day free trial alongside its 30-day refund window. Better choice if you want to test before committing, or if the lowest price is the deciding factor.
NordVPN at $3.49/mo costs slightly more but is the fastest of the three in our latest speed tests and ships extras like Threat Protection Pro at the higher tier.
If price is the only factor, Surfshark is the cheapest of the three. If you want raw speed and a security suite, NordVPN. If you want ExpressVPN’s Lightway protocol and router support specifically, this deal is the cheapest way in. See our cheap VPN comparison for the full breakdown.
How to Use an Express Coupon Code
Right now ExpressVPN’s discount is link-based, there is no code to type. Click any Get Deal button and ExpressVPN’s checkout opens with the current promotional pricing already applied, the saving shows in your order total automatically. When a working public code is available it appears at the top of this page behind a Show Code button, you copy it and paste it into the Have a coupon? field at checkout before paying. Either way you reach the same discounted rate.
Express Coupon Saving Tips
The 2-year deal via our link is usually the best available rate, but a few other options are worth knowing about. Students can get 51% off a 12-month plan through UNiDAYS or Student Beans, that also includes a 14-day free trial, which the standard plan doesn’t offer. ExpressVPN periodically bundles 12 free months of Backblaze cloud backup with selected plans; it’s worth checking what’s included at checkout before finalising your order.
If you’re not sure ExpressVPN is right for you, the 30-day money-back period is your safest entry point, sign up, test it fully, and request a refund within the window if it isn’t for you. Seasonal sales around Black Friday and Cyber Monday occasionally push discounts beyond the standard sitewide rate, so if you can wait, those events are worth watching.
How We Source and Test Express Coupon Codes
We only list deals we can independently verify. Our team checks ExpressVPN’s pricing directly through fresh checkout sessions, monitors affiliate networks, and tests discount links before publishing them here. We re-check the offer whenever pricing or promotional terms change, so you’re seeing the current offer, not a cached deal from several months ago. We don’t list one-time-use or user-specific codes, since those can’t be reliably verified for every reader.
Why ExpressVPN Is Worth It
The infrastructure is the real case for ExpressVPN: every server runs in RAM under its TrustedServer system (nothing written to disk, wiped on reboot), the no-logs policy is KPMG-verified, and the British Virgin Islands base sits outside US/UK data-retention laws. Add the fast Lightway protocol, 1000s+ servers across 113 locations, and 10 to 14 device connections depending on tier, and the discounted price buys a genuinely premium service.
ExpressVPN Refund Policy and Payment Methods
You can purchase ExpressVPN using a variety of payment options shown at checkout (options vary by country). Common methods include credit and debit cards, PayPal where available, Bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies in select regions, and various local payment methods depending on your location. Always confirm available options on the final checkout page before paying.
