It’s also easy to set up a VPN for Tinder. Although the steps may somewhat vary between different VPN providers, here’s what you need to do:
- Choose a VPN provider with a large global server network, like NordVPN.
- Download the VPN from the Google Play Store or Apple App Store and sign in.
- Pick a server in the city or country where you want to appear on Tinder and tap “Connect.”
- As Tinder primarily relies on GPS to detect a user’s location, you’ll want to change your coordinates to point to the same city or country as your VPN server.
On Android:
- Go to Settings > About Phone and tap Build Number seven times until it says “You are a developer.”
